Face your fears and head over for a frighteningly fun time at California’s Great America. Celebrating its 10th year, Halloween Haunt returns to the park, Fridays-Sundays, Sept. 22-Oct. 29, with eight haunted attractions, five shocking Skeleton Key rooms, three reincarnated scare zones and four live shows. New for 2017, Demon: Re-Ignited returns the lights, fog, music and blood-red waterfall to the iconic roller coaster, while two new mazes—Chaos House and Backwoods—will raise fears to new levels. Also new this year, famed magician Ed Alonzo (of Saved by the Bell) brings his cutting edge humor to Psycho Circus of Magic and Mayhem, adding to the entertainment provided by the Blood Drums, Nytewalkers and Sideshow. It’s all the spookiness and enjoyment you could hope for.
THE GREAT PUMPKIN FEST
Younger ones can have fun too! From Sept 30-Oct 29 (closed Oct 22), kids can trick-or-treat with Snoopy and the PEANUTS™ Gang, decorate mini pumpkins, walk a hay maze and engage in coloring. There will be movie showings and readings of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown throughout the day. Included with price of park admission.
